Rod Ham, a 30 year Nashville Veteran,
is the originator of this event. "For a long time I had been trying to come up with
an idea for a get together for musicians who had been in Nashville for a
long time but their careers had moved them in many directions over the years.
I had attended the funeral for a good friend in which many friends of mine
attended who I had not seen in years. It inspired me to get something going
that would allow us to visit and pick together instead of waiting years between
visits".

We had many musicians there to entertain and Daryle Singletary was the highlight of the evening as he did nearly an hour performing many classic country standards as well as a few of his own hits including "Old Violin" from his latest CD which drew a standing ovation from the crowd. He also brought several of his band members that brought his backup crew to 9 musicians for his performance. Daryle is a great example of what country music should be about and we appreciate his support tremendously.
